Carbon Steel
We work with a wide variety of carbon steel grades such as 1015,1020 and 1026.
- 1015: High wear resistance and abrasion resistance for case-hardened parts
- 1020: Outstanding weldability, vibration resistance, and machineability for structural parts and mechanical applications
- 1026: Hot-rolled low-carbon steel (0.22% to 0.28%) that responds well to heat treatment for high-stress components
Many industries use carbon steel extensively for manufacturing, including automotive, heavy machinery, and consumer goods production.
Alloy Steel
Alloying elements such as chromium and molybdenum enhance the properties of steel for specialized applications. Common types of alloy steel include:
- 4140: Chromium and molybdenum alloy with outstanding toughness
- 4340: Nickel, chromium, and manganese alloy for heavy-duty parts
- 8620: Nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel widely used for machinery parts, agricultural applications, hand tools, and automotive shafts
Alloy steels deliver high tensile strength, corrosion resistance, torsion resistance, and thermal resistance.
Aluminum
Aluminum is ideal for CNC machining, offering an incredible strength-to-weight ratio. Its applications range from aerospace and military parts to appliances and turbines for energy generation.
Cast Iron
Cast iron offers surprising durability, heat resistance, and impact resistance. When properly formed, it can offer incredible performance for brake calipers, metalworking applications, cookware, pump housings, and other parts.
Copper
Copper and copper alloys have benefits for the engineering, prototyping, and production phases of CNC machining because of the metal’s high formability. Copper parts excel in thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance.
Brass
Brass alloys contain copper, zinc, and other alloying elements. They’re exceptionally malleable, ductile, and machinable, but stronger and tougher than copper.
